Part of the Welsh cohort for this pathway exploring Climate Justice & outdoor sound & music creation. For my practice this translated as researching traditional methods of farming/agriculture & contrasting this with the current face of Welsh farming, mindful of the balance (& politics) needed for biodiversity. During a residency in NW Wales I retraced old Drover’s routes alongside exploring temperate or ‘Celtic rainforests’ that stretch throughout Wales - Coedwigoedd Glaw Celtaidd Cymru - seeing how all these different threads weave together.

These ideas are now feeding into the creation of a ‘sound costume’, where sound is activated through movement.
